Home soda maker: Does someone in your life drink a lot of soda? Help them kick the habit, save money, and slash their foodprint with a home soda maker. Add a slice of fruit or a little juice and you have a refreshing spritzer without the chemicals and sugar. Store-bought soda and seltzer have a pretty gigantic ecological footprint, and it’s easy to make your own at home without all the artificial flavors and additives.
Healthy Gifts: Healthier Cooking Gear
Know someone newer to scratch cooking who could use some terrific kitchen tools?
The Instant Pot or Vitaclay Slow Cooker can make getting dinner on the table far easier. Plus they also cook rice, make yogurt and more!

A stainless steel baking sheet or muffin pan is a healthier bet than aluminum or nonstick.
A refillable oil sprayer lets you get just the right amount of oil with no chemical additives or propellants. Add a nice bottle of organic olive oil to round out your gift.
A dehydrator is a wonderful way to make healthy treats and preserve summer vegetables and herbs without any specialized knowledge. A total novice to food preserving can get started with dehydrating in minutes. I’ve had the Nesco Gardenmaster (about $100) for years and have loved it. As we learn more about plastic migrating into our food, though, I’ve decided our next dehydrator will be made of stainless steel.
Spiralizers turn vegetables into healthy noodles. Add the Inspiralizer cookbook to get them started eating more veggies.

Or if you prefer old-fashioned stovetop popcorn, one of these stovetop popcorn poppers instead. Fill a mason jar with some organic popcorn and tie with pretty string or ribbon.

For the almond milk drinker, get them what they need to make their own nut milks. SOOOO much better than store bought! They’ll need a bag for straining homemade nut-milks and some organic almonds.
Know someone who might like to learn more about using herbs or foraging? The Herbal Academy has several online foraging and herbalism courses. Here’s a list of the courses they’re currently enrolling.
